Eligibility Criteria:
Officers from Central or State Government/ Universities/ R&D Organizations.
holding analogous post on regular basis in Level-11 in the Pay Matrix or
Assistant Library and Information Officer with seven years regular service in Level-7 in the Pay Matrix.
Essential
Bachelors Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from Government recognized University/ Institute;
7 years professional experience in Management of Libraries and office procedure. Data processing and Communication skills and Information Service in a Library under Centre& State Govt/ University.
Desirable:
Master's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from Government recognized University/ Institute;
One year experience of computerizing Library activities in a Library .ender CentraV State Government/ University or recognized Research or education Institution.
Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute.Note: The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be Eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.
